Golang Open Source Contributor – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Golang Open Source Contributor to join our remote team. The role focuses on delivering production‑quality code, reviews and documentation for open‑source projects that support our customer’s initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Write, review, and document production‑grade code for relevant open‑source repositories.
• Design, implement and optimise algorithms and system components using C++, Python, Java, GoLang, Typescript or Rust.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks and technical challenges in existing codebases.
• Collaborate with other contributors and stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with project goals and best practices.
• Maintain and enhance technical documentation to aid knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Participate in code discussions, providing constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.

Required profile

• Experience with large‑scale, distributed codebases.
• Proven track record of rigorous code reviews and contribution to software best practices.
• Familiarity with modern AI or machine‑learning systems is a plus, but not mandatory.
