Excel Specialist - Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Excel Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. You will create and evaluate realistic business scenarios using Microsoft Office tools, providing critical feedback to improve AI-generated document solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate challenging business scenarios that require expert-level use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Engage in structured, multi‑turn conversations with a large language model (LLM), presenting complex prompts and reviewing AI‑generated deliverables.
• Create, assess, and compare two AI‑generated Office documents against professional standards, selecting the preferred output.
• Document feedback with detailed side‑by‑side preference data to guide AI model improvements.
• Contribute domain‑specific insights across multiple industries and business functions to ensure diverse, real‑world use cases.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal formats to provide actionable feedback for the AI training team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Fortune 500 environments using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word on high‑impact projects.
• Background in business roles such as private equity associate, investment banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR, or marketing strategist.
• Experience creating complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations across finance, healthcare, technology, consulting, or retail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience interacting with LLMs or writing long‑form AI prompts is a strong plus.
