Country Sales Manager – Zimbabwe

About the role

The Country Sales Manager will lead sales execution, outlet coverage and team performance across Zimbabwe. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive volume, distribution and visibility for our FMCG/Consumer Health portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure numeric and weighted distribution targets are met and identify new outlet opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key retailers and wholesalers, resolving stock, pricing and visibility issues.
• Submit weekly and monthly sales reports, track KPIs such as sales vs target, strike rate and outlet coverage, and provide market intelligence.
• Lead, coach and supervise sales representatives, promoters and merchandisers, overseeing daily route planning and performance reviews.
• Guarantee compliance with company policies, brand guidelines and SOPs, supporting POSM execution and flagging pricing or counterfeit risks.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales experience in the FMCG or Consumer Health industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage distributor networks and retail relationships.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching sales teams.
• Excellent analytical abilities to monitor performance metrics and market trends.
