Business Development Intern

About the role

Join Omama Finance as a Business Development Intern and support our mission to empower women and mothers through financial inclusion. You will work closely with the business development team to identify growth opportunities and assist in delivering loan products to underserved communities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Support client onboarding and maintain relationships.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Participate in loan product promotions and field campaigns.
• Help prepare business development reports.
• Engage communities to promote financial inclusion initiatives.
• Provide sales support to help branches meet targets.

Required profile

• Currently studying towards a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest or experience in financial inclusion or women empowerment is a plus.
• Possession of a valid industrial attachment letter from your institution.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
