Join a leading provider of safety-critical systems and embark on a pioneering mission to shape the future of aviation. As a Senior Aerospace Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing the software for next-generation all-electric aircraft designed for Urban Air Mobility (UAM).

Missions principales

• Develop and deliver safety-critical avionics software, including onboard flight controls and vehicle management systems for eVTOL aircraft.
• Ensure full compliance with DO-178C standards and its applicable supplements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with systems engineers to translate complex requirements into robust software architectures.
• Lead technical activities including requirements engineering, software design, coding, integration, and validation.
• Provide high-level technical support and expertise to multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Profil recherché

• Extensive experience in aerospace software engineering, specifically within safety-critical environments.
• Proven track record of working with DO-178C certification standards.
• Strong background in embedded systems and flight control logic.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and navigate complex engineering processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a rigorous approach to software safety and reliability.

Competences requises

• Expertise in DO-178C certification processes.
• Proficiency in embedded software development (C/C++, Ada, or similar).
• Deep understanding of Avionics, Flight Control Systems, and eVTOL technologies.
• Strong skills in software requirements, design, and verification/validation (V&V).
• Experience in safety-critical software lifecycles.
